Tan acceleration and increasing Melanocytes
Through a process called melanogenesis, Melanocytes produce melanin which is a pigment found in the skin, eyes and hair. An increase in melanin from melanogenesis leads to a longer lasting tan which is in direct contrast to the tan that originates from oxidation of already existing melanin.(more)
